Cobbers split doubleheader with Blazers on the road

ST. JOSEPH, Minn. – The Concordia softball team split a doubleheader with the College of St. Benedict on Saturday.

The Cobbers (11-21 overall, 6-12 MIAC) posted a shutout in the first game winning 8-0.

Kesley Jones allowed the Blazers (13-21, 9-13) just two hits in Game 1in five innings in the circle.

St. Benedict’s Jillian Rigg connected for a two-run home run in Game 2, which was all the Blazers needed to wrap up the 2-1 win.
