Motorcyclist injured in crash after deer jumps out of ditch near UlenULEN, Minn. – A motorcyclist was airlifted Thursday night to Fargo’s MeritCare Hospital after a crash on state Highway 32.
Kevin Veraldrud, 43, of Glyndon went into the west ditch south of Ulen after a deer ran out of the ditch, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Troopers were called to the scene at 8:47 p.m. and assisted by Ulen Rescue and Lifeflight.
Veraldrud was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. He did not suffer life-threatening injuries, although his condition is unknown.
