Moorhead's Blake chosen for Team USA

Moorhead’s Jason Blake has been selected to the United States roster for the upcoming International Ice Hockey Federation Men’s World Championship.

Blake, a 35-year-old forward for the Toronto Maple Leafs, is the oldest player of 19 selected to Team USA’s initial roster.

Former University of North Dakota standout Drew Stafford, and former University of Minnesota stars Keith Ballard and Kyle Okposo were also named to the team.

The World Championship is scheduled for April 24-May 10 in Berne and Zurich-Kloten, Switzerland.
