Fargo Rape and Abuse Crisis Center to host breakfastThe Fargo Rape and Abuse Crisis Center’s annual “Kids Are Our Business” breakfast will be from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. April 29 at the Fargo Holiday Inn.
Those attending will hear from a survivor of childhood abuse and will hear how this child received help, healing and hope for the future.
Tickets are $60 and available at the center, 317 8th St. N.
The public is also invited to visit the “Pinwheels for Peace” display in Island Park beginning April 27. This will be a display of 644 pinwheels representing the number of children helped at the center in 2008.
Due to changes during the flood, Healthy Relationships Week has been rescheduled for the week of April 27. The Rape and Abuse Crisis Center and Fargo Prairie St. John’s will sponsor activities focused on healthy relationships.
Middle and high school students in Fargo, West Fargo and Moorhead will create buttons and posters depicting healthy relationships. Each participating student’s name will be entered into a drawing to win a Best Buy gift card.
