Glenn Miller Orchestra to play Fargo in JuneThe Fargo Theatre will swing this summer when the Glenn Miller Orchestra plays the venue June 19.
The band is named after the famous jazz arranger and trombonist who recorded hits such as “In the Mood,” “Tuxedo Junction,” “Chattanooga Choo-Choo,” “Moonlight Serenade” and “Pennsylvania 6-5000.”
The current version of the big band was formed in 1956, 12 years after Miller disappeared en route to play for American troops in Paris.
