NDSU title clothing in demand
Demand for T-shirts marking the 66-64 win over Oakland University (Mich.) on Tuesday surged just hours after the victory, say collegiate athletic clothing sales officials.
Shawna Ramsett, assistant clothing buyer for NDSU, said the bookstore was sold out of several sizes of Summit League
T-shirts ordered prior to the game. By Wednesday afternoon, only small and XXL sizes remained.
Ramsett said 144 T-shirts have been ordered and should arrive next week, and arrangements are in place to order more should those 144 sell quickly, too.
Fargo’s Scheels All Sports store also saw large sales of their Bison clothing and Summit League
T-shirts on Wednesday. Jared Vanlaecken, a store sales associate, said the store ordered 400 T-shirts, which should arrive today.
The store is expecting five different shirt styles in three colors, Vanlaecken said. One style will have the bracket listing this year’s NCAA tournament teams – though the full bracket won’t be announced until Sunday – and another says “Let’s go dancing,” he said.
