Boy, 10, dies in Roseau County, Minn., mobile home fire

A 10-year-old boy was killed in a mobile home fire in Salol, Minn., Tuesday night.

The boy, Kodiak Robert Alan Nelson, was found by firefighters inside the home, according to the Roseau County Sheriff’s Office.

The boy’s mother, Deborah Nelson, escaped the fire. She was taken to LifeCare Medical Center in Roseau, Minn., where she was treated and released.

Shortly after 10:30 p.m., a 911 caller reported a fire at the home in the Timberline Trailer Court along state Highway 11.
