North Dakota State Fair slates concert lineup

This summer’s North Dakota State Fair in Minot features a lineup of rising country stars and hard rocking “Saints.”

Mötley Crüe kickstarts the concert series on July 24. Known as much for the members’ over-the-top lifestyle, the band rose to fame with 1983’s “Shout at the Devil” and follow-up hits “Home Sweet Home,” “Girls, Girls, Girls” and “Dr. Feelgood.” The band is touring behind its ninth studio album, “Saints of Los Angeles.”

Singer Taylor Swift takes the rest of the lineup country the following night, with numbers like “Our Song,” “Love Story” and “Fifteen.”

On July 26 country singer Rodney Atkins and former Trick Pony member Heidi Newfield share the stage.

Gary Allan brings a little rock to his country set on July 30 featuring his hits “Songs About Rain,” “Learning How to Bend” and “She’s so California.”

Ticket prices and more concerts will be announced soon.
