West Fargo School District officials to meet with public tonightWEST FARGO - Tonight is the second of six meetings the West Fargo School District and School Board are hosting this month to hear from parents, students, teachers and other representatives of the public.
The meeting is from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Leidal Education Center, 207 Main Ave. W.
District officials say it’s an important for residents to voice their opinions on future building plans and for officials to better determine the bond referendum slated for May.
The district needs another elementary school, middle school and high school. Most of tonight’s conversation is expected to focus on the “big question” officials need answered – does the public support one high school or two?
“It’s kind of a toss up,” board President Tom Gentzkow said this morning about the divide in the community of supporting one or two high schools. “There are two feelings out there, so hopefully we’ll be able to understand that more come tonight.”
