Six-session series on racism, diversity begins at 6 tonight at Fargo YWCA

FARGO – The YWCA Cass Clay is hosting a six-session series on racism and diversity, with the first event at 6 tonight.

The series – titled “It’s Time to Talk: Forums on Race” – will be held on the second Wednesday of each month through July at the YWCA, 3000 S. University Drive.

Tonight’s topic is “What is Racism?” Participants will discuss the definition of racism and the different levels of it, such as subtle racism, said Rosa De Leon, the YWCA’s racial justice coordinator.
