Democrats spent $1 million more in Minnesota racesST. PAUL – Minnesota House Democrats outspent Republicans by more than $1 million in last year’s election, helping them pad an already dominant majority.
Reports filed with state regulators showed the DFL House Caucus spent $3 million, compared with
$1.9 million for the House Republican Campaign Committee. Outside money came in, too – more than
$1 million in independent expenditures from interests including business groups and unions.
