Language Villages gets $68K grantConcordia Language Villages has received a $68,000 grant from the European Commission to increase awareness of the European Union among residents in the Upper Midwest.
The grant will be used to host events in Minneapolis-St. Paul and to organize EU simulations with students who attend the Language Villages’ summer language immersion programs.
Concordia Language Villages plans to host events in the Twin Cities in conjunction with Europe Day in May. In addition, the Villages will hold four events this summer that model the workings of the European Council and the EU’s role at the United Nations.
