Concordia adds wrestling assistant

The Concordia wrestling program has announced that Matt Nagel will be the head assistant coach for the Cobbers next season.

Matt is the son of Concordia head coach Clay Nagel. Matt was a five-time Minnesota state champion at Frazee High School before he went on to have a stellar career at the University of Minnesota, where he was a Division I All-American.

“I’m very excited about getting Matt on staff next year,” Clay Nagel said. “Matt will be instrumental in developing a more intense weight lifting program as well as conducting daily individual technique sessions for the Cobber wrestling team.”
