UP Center scheme is a joke on us

Remember when the Urban Plains Center was an idea that was heralded in The Forum as a private business bringing hockey to Fargo?

What a joke on us. Now it is anything but that. What a sneaky way to get the public involved, and, as it looks, we’re stuck with it. It seems that the powers that be have a mighty big following in some of our city’s public offices.

Wake up, Fargo residents. How much more are we going to let this happen? Change is always good, but not this way. I loved watching the Jets play; it was a great way for my daughter and I to spend time together, fairly cheap, too, but not anymore.

If the park and school boards won’t represent us correctly, change is always good.

Please get out and vote these incumbents out. We need people who are going to represent residents and not their own agendas.
