Valley City man sentenced for role in trailer blazeVALLEY CITY, N.D. (AP) – A Valley City man has beesentenced to probation for his role in a case involving a mobile home fire in April.
John Nishwtiz received a one-year suspended jail sentence. At the sentencing Wednesday, South-east District Court Judge Mikal Simonson ordered Nishwitz to serve two years of probation.
Simonson says felony drug charges were dropped as part of a plea agreement.
Kyre Hatcher, and her husband, Justin Hatcher also have been charged in the case. They are ac-cused of making methamphetamine before the fire.
A sentencing hearing for the Hatchers is set for Jan. 9.
