17-year-old pleads guilty in stabbingUPDATED 2:15 p.m.
A 17-year-old Fargo youth pleaded guilty today in Cass County District Court to a charge of aggravated assault stemming from a September stabbing outside a south Fargo apartment building.
George Ludoru Job was given a one-year sentence, which was suspended for five years and he was placed on supervised probation.
He was also ordered to pay $500.
The sentence was to run concurrent with a sentence Job received in juvenile court, which was not disclosed.
Both the adult case and the juvenile case stem from a stabbing incident Sept. 27 in which two people were injured.
In the adult case, Job admitted to stabbing one person, according to Kim Hegvik, an assistant Cass County state’s attorney.
