Missing old family photos? WF woman might have themAre you missing a family wedding picture? Maybe Ellen Liddle can help you.
Ellen, of West Fargo, bought a slightly used scrapbook at Saver’s Thrift Store in Fargo last summer.
When she was leafing through it, she found a wedding picture (shown here) dated May 9, 1953, with the names Jo and Nevin Wetzel.
Ellen is trying to get this photo back to the Wetzels, or to members of their family. She says she’ll gladly send it, if she has a name and address.
She found other pictures on an album page. They are dated from 1938 to 1945, and have these names: Rodger,
Carolyn, Evelyn Gerding, Eileen Hogard, Selma, Mary Vickers, Geraldine Smith, Mary Lou Schevemann, Betty Stafford, Stanley, Eleanor, Dick, Eddie, Helen and Augie.
“My husband (Jerry) and I are historians for our families and recognize the value of old pictures,” Ellen writes.
So if you know who should have these photos, let Ellen know. Her phone number is (701) 281-9303.
