ND Guard gets suspicious package

BISMARCK – The North Dakota National Guard says its Fargo unit was among Guard and Reserve units in 36 states to get a suspicious package that turned out to be an anti-war CD.

Lt. Dan Murphy, a Guard spokesman, says the 119th Wing in Fargo got the package Tuesday in the mail and cleared the building while it was checked out. He says no powder was found inside the package and it was determined not to be a threat.

Murphy says there was little disruption in Guard activities. He says no other units in the state have found similar packages.
