Human cannonball to be shot down Fargo's Broadway to publicize circus coming to town

FARGO -- After parading elephants through downtown here last year, the Shrine Circus plans to launch the human cannonball on Broadway to publicize this year’s circus.

The performance will be at 5:30 p.m. April 10, according to a news release from Bryan Shinn, public relations chairman for the El Zagal Shriners.

Clowns, free cotton candy and various Shrine Circus units will also be displayed in the U.S. Bank Plaza at Broad-way and Second Avenue North.

Shinn said Shriners thought the human cannonball would be a unique way to bring excitement to this year’s circus, April 11, 12 and 13 at the Fargodome.
