Kucinich plans Fargo visit

Presidential hopeful Dennis Kucinich will be in Fargo Wednesday, a campaign spokeswoman confirmed.

The Ohio congressman will go on the “Ed Schultz Show” from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. during his stop.

“I know Dennis is so looking forward to this. He wanted to make a stop in Fargo to do this,” said spokeswoman Sharon Manitta.

Further details of Kucinich’s Fargo plans were not immediately available.

Kucinich, 60, labels himself as a “champion of working families,” according to his campaign Web site.

He will “lead America into expanding opportunities, universal health care, restore our schools and strengthen Social Security and protections for private pensions.”

Kucinich, a Democrat, also was a candidate during the 2004 presidential election.
