13th Avenue closing times extendedThe North Dakota Department of Transportation will extend the closing of 13th Avenue South under the Interstate-29 bridge tonight from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.
The original nighttime closings were scheduled to occur Wednesday through Saturday between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
By extending the time for an extra hour, workers hope to avoid Saturday's scheduled closing.
"The contractor feels they can complete their work on 13th Avenue South early by keeping it closed until 7 a.m.," said Kevin Gorder, NDDOT project coordinator.
One other adjustment this weekend will impact traffic exiting southbound I-29 for Interstate-94 beginning Saturday morning.
The I-94 exit off southbound I-29 will begin immediately after the 17th Avenue South bridge, slightly further north than where it currently begins.
