Ad Federation honors local advertisers

Local advertisers were recently honored at the 49th annual Advertising Federation of Fargo Moorhead ADDY Awards.

Professionals from American Advertising Federation clubs judged 333 entries in 130 categories. The judges awarded 58 Gold ADDY Awards and 97 Silver ADDYs.

Best-of-Show honors went to “Fishing,” a television ad created by Sundog for Paul Bunyan Rural Telephone, Bemidji, Minn.

The judges also awarded three Judge’s Choice awards. “The Orange Says Slow Down,” is a TV spot for the North Dakota Department of Transportation by H2M; “Summer of Chins” was a Web-based greeter by Sundog in the Advertising Industry Self-Promotion category; and North Dakota State University’s admission campaign was recognized in the Direct Marketing category.
